Assignment 1.3 – Exercise:  Emphasis / Focal Point

Emphasis (also referred to as Focal Point) is the area or subject of a composition to which the eye is drawn.

Utilizing the tools and techniques learned from the previous two assignments,           create an image similar to the following:

  • Work at 8.5 x 11″ @ 300 dpi.  Save this “master” file with layers for your archives.
  • Upon completion submit a 72 dpi. jpeg via the CMS (CANVAS Assignment upload).
